Noticing and Nourishing

When your world is swirling in patterns and pieces, what helps you see clearly?

Is it the feather that found its way onto your path on a particularly heavy day?

Is it a memory of the time when the tension in a group melted when someone made a well timed, kind hearted joke?

Is it the feel of her bark when you hug your favorite tree?

Whatever lights up your internal pathways to peace and wellbeing, I invite you to spend as much time as you like filling your inner vision, and all of your senses, with every delicious detail of that experience.

Then notice what comes alive in your body, and savor those sensations. Perhaps you will notice the ease in your breath, the lightness in your chest, or an exquisite tingle in your spine. Try to stay with the glow of any inner resources you awaken for about a minute. No matter how faint, this kind of feedback is your body signaling nourishment is present for you.

This glimmer to glow practice, visited often, can help amplify resource states in your body, and make them easier to shift into when you need them.

In a world that appears to be stretched between collapse and renewal, one of our foundational powers is learning to amplify our inner resources.
